This says a lot about the 'care in the community' for the mentally ill (i.e there isn't any).

Awful story. But there is are serious doubts about his conviction, hes probobaly innocent. Im sure the fact that he is a "psycotic" junkie didnt endear him to the jury in the initial trial or the judges during the appeal. Hardly the best poster boy for a miscarriage of justice.
